Exit the A30 towards St Ives and take the first exit at the second mini roundabout following directions for ‘St Ives (day visitors)’. At the T-junction turn right onto the B3311 and drive through Halsetown. Turn left at the next T-junction on to the B3306 towards St Just/Morvah/Zennor. After approx. 1/2 mile turn right at the brown tourist sign. Follow this single track lane (there are a number of passing bays!) for approx. 1/2 mile to a small triangle in the road, keep right and we are located a short distance on the right.
Unfortunately most Sat Nav systems route guests unnecessarily all the way through St Ives town and therefore, to avoid the narrow streets, we advise that you follow the directions above once you exit the A30.
Rail - change at St Erth main line station for a short ride along the stunning St Ives Bay Line (terminates above Porthminster Beach).
Bus - the main bus depot is located at The Malakoff (at the end of the car park directly above Porthminster Beach).
A number of taxi services operate from St Ives:
St Ives Taxi Co - tel: 01736 796633
Alternatively, you can jump on one of the buses that operates directly to the campsite from Royal Square (approximately five minutes walk from the train station / The Malakoff bus depot and is located opposite the cinema).
To avoid disappointment and an unnecessary detour at the end of a long tiring day, please ensure you have pre-booked your stay as we cannot guarantee availability, especially during the High Season.
We recommend you follow the directions to us via what3words ///stalemate.dairies.cuter
Or, for those who prefer using OS Maps:
From Land's End towards St Ives - exit the SWCP at Carn Naun Point following the footpath up through the first two fields and exiting the bridle path over the small stile and through the gate to the left (we call it 'Killer Gate' due to the very strong spring!) and then continue across the fields. We are located in the small hamlet of Trevalgan where you exit the footpath at the farm.
From St Ives toward Land's End - exit the SWCP at Hellesveor Cliff following the footpath and exiting the bridle path to the right towards Trowan. Continue across the fields until you see the campsite and exit the footpath at the farm.
